It all started with a kiss..
Janelle and Greg began their journey with me during their engagement session at Crimson Lake, Alberta. It was immediately obvious how much these two love each other and were able to laugh away any awkwardness they may have been feeling. As the sun begins to set, painting the sky with golden hues, the couple stands hand in hand in the sand that stretches out around them. The light is soft, the kind that makes everything look a little more beautiful, and it perfectly matches the warmth between them. There’s a quiet peace in the air, with only the gentle rustle of the wind through the tall grasses and the faint sound of the lake lapping against the shore.
She laughs, a soft sound that seems to fill the space between them, while he smiles at her, his eyes full of admiration and love. It’s clear they’re completely at ease with each other, their connection radiating in the way they look at one another, as if this moment is just a continuation of the life they’ve been building together. He brushes a strand of hair from her face, their hands naturally finding each other again, and the sunlight glows around them, like a halo.
There’s something about this place, at this time, that makes it feel like no one else exists but them. The world seems to pause in the most perfect way. They’re not just in a beautiful setting—they’re completely immersed in the joy of being together, sharing in this chapter of their lives as they look toward the future with the kind of excitement that only an engagement brings.

The Big Day
Janelle
Set at the Cavalcade Group Camping area near Abraham Lake I knock on the door of the trailer to announce my arrival; Janelle opens the door with a huge smile on her face. Surrounded by family and a few close friends Janelle and her daughter are busy adding the final touches to themselves wile I meticulously photograph the gorgeous details.
Gregory
I soon head over to Greg's trailer and see what the guys are up to, mischief as always!
The Ceremony
Set in the beautiful scenery of the mountains, it is now time for our couple to say their I do's. With a laugh and a stumble Greg remembers to start the music and wipes away a tear as Janelle walks from behind a pine tree and emerges into view with her father. Laughing and whispering to her father she makes her way down the isle. The two lock eyes and it's one of the most beautiful send off's I have seen. The ceremony was short and filled with love, and the couple shared an incredible kiss, much to the playful disgust of their respective children.
